Michael Herman, DDS, is a skilled and experienced dentist and sleep specialist at Beyond Dentistry on Central Park South in New York City. Dr. Herman has more than 40 years’ experience offering cosmetic dentistry for patients who seek a gleaming, straight smile and managing the pain of dentistry that deters many people from getting the treatment they need.
Dr. Herman attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. At NYU, he trained in orofacial pain management and craniomandibular disorders. Dr. Michael Herman earned a Ph.D in nutrition and received the distinction of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which only 5% of the U.S. dentists have received. In addition holds Fellowships and Diplomate status in numerous associations and academies.
Dr Herman is trained in treating obstructive sleep disorders and sleep apnea and has successfully completed the mastery program thru the prestigious American Academy Of Dental Sleep Medicine of which he is also a member.
Patients of all ages appreciate Dr. Herman’s ability to explain a diagnosis and treatment options in terms they can understand. His passion for his work shines through his care, and he has a gift for putting patients at ease throughout the most strenuous of dental treatments.
Dr. Michael Herman is an author of numerous articles and has made appearances on T.V. and radio. Dr. Herman enjoys playing piano, loves music and developed Denta-mins: first dental vitamin/mineral supplement and Diamond White: a patented toothpaste containing real diamonds as a polishing agent.

Morgan Herman, DDS, is a different kind of dentist. Gentle and caring, Dr. Morgan offers compassionate and personalized physiologic and cosmetic dentistry care to suit the unique wants and needs of patients at Beyond Dentistry NYC, located on Central Park South in New York City.
Dr. Morgan is well-regarded by her patients for her thorough and comprehensive approach to their oral healthcare. She takes the necessary time to provide you with the best possible care and to educate you about your existing conditions and treatment options. With a keen focus on the mouth-body connection and with respect for the guiding principles of aligned holistic and physiologic function, Dr. Morgan will change your perspective on the importance and impact of a healthy mouth. She believes that her conservative, preventative, and physiologic approach to dentistry will increase the longevity of your teeth as well as improve your overall health and wellness. Her goal is for you to feel empowered and supported on your journey towards oral and systemic health.
Dr. Morgan attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014 from New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with Honors in Esthetic Dentistry. She continued her education with a General Practice Residency in Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. A graduate and preferred provider of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies--LVI. This institute only trains the top 10% of cosmetic dentists worldwide and has been showcased on T.V's Extreme Makeover.
In 2015, she joined forces with her father, Dr. Michael Herman, at their private practice in Manhattan where she continues to offer the highest standard of care.
Dr. Morgan is dedicated to life-long learning. She frequents advanced postdoctoral study programs to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, technologies, and discoveries in the field of dentistry. She is a member of the IAPA and is currently in the process of completing her Fellowship at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute where she focuses on healing people of life-long debilitating pain. She is also a certified 200 hour Yoga Teacher and has completed a curriculum on Face Yoga for Facial Rejuvenation.
Dr. Morgan currently resides in Manhattan with her husband, Jerry, and their dog, Milo. Her hobbies include yoga, singing, cooking, and travel.
